This notice explains which of your personal data are processed when you visit uzmkabakci.com, why and for how long they are stored, and what rights you have under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. What Data Do We Collect?

a) When you fill in the contact form: your name and surname, e-mail address, subject and message. This information is needed to record your request and reply to you. For security purposes, the IP address and the date on which the message was sent are also stored.

b) Automatically, as you browse the site: your IP address, the address of the page you visit, the address you came from (referrer) and the visit date. These records are kept to understand which pages attract interest and to detect misuse.

c) Through cookies: explained in detail in section 7 below.

There is no membership, online sale or payment system on our site. We therefore never request or collect information such as credit card details, bank account details, identity numbers or passwords.

3. For What Purpose and on What Legal Basis Do We Process Your Data?

  • To answer your questions and requests and to discuss orders and events — being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c) and legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent misuse and spam submissions — legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f).
  • To produce visit statistics and improve our content — legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f).
  • To fulfil our legal retention and disclosure obligations — legal obligation (KVKK art. 5/2-ç).

4. Who Do We Share Your Data With?

We do not sell, rent out or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is shared only in the following cases and only to the extent the service requires:

  • Our hosting and e-mail provider: to host the site and technically deliver contact form messages.
  • Google Fonts: so that page typefaces can be displayed, your browser sends a request to Google servers; your IP address is transmitted to Google and thereby transferred abroad.
  • WhatsApp: only if you click the WhatsApp button on the site, the conversation continues over WhatsApp and WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply.
  • Authorised public institutions: only where there is a request or obligation arising from legislation.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

  • Contact form messages: at most 2 years after your request has been concluded.
  • Visit records: at most 12 months.

At the end of these periods your data is deleted or anonymised. Your right to request earlier deletion is reserved (see section 6).

6. Your Rights Under KVKK

Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom your data is transferred at home or abroad; request correction if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly; request deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in the law; request that these operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to a result arising against you from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and request compensation if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.

7. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit save to your browser. Only the following cookies are used on our site:

  • Session cookie (essential): required for forms to work securely and for the session to be maintained. It is deleted when you close your browser.
  • site_lang (preference cookie): remembers the language you selected, so you do not have to choose again on every visit.

We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies. You can delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings; however, if you block essential cookies, some sections such as the contact form may not work.

This policy may be updated in line with changes in legislation or in how our site operates. The current text is always published on this page; the "last updated" date at the top shows which version you are reading.
